Cookie Policy
Effective date: 25 July 2026
Version: 1.2
This Cookie Policy explains how Mango Dog Pty Ltd (ACN 628 425 481) ("Mango Dog", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Mango Receptionist website at https://mangoreceptionist.com (the "Site") and in the Mango Receptionist client console. It supplements, and should be read with, our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related browser-storage features (localStorage, sessionStorage) and short-lived in-memory technologies (together, "Storage Technologies"). This Policy uses "cookies" to refer to all of them unless the context makes clear otherwise.
2. What we use and why
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Legal basis / choice | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, security, fraud prevention and essential service operation | tenant_session, admin_session, CSRF/session state |
Necessary to provide the requested service and protect it | Session; tenant_session up to 30 days |
| Functional | Remember a recent tenant or maintain a deliberately started assistant session | mangoTenantId, mangoAssistantVisitorId in local storage |
Necessary for the selected feature or our legitimate interests in providing it | Until cleared or the relevant feature is reset |
| Analytics | Understand aggregate public-site performance and improve the site | Google Analytics (G-P8MD3RH9X4) |
Optional; loaded only after affirmative analytics consent | Provider-controlled; see Google’s controls |
| Marketing measurement | Measure marketing effectiveness and conversion events | Google Tag Manager (GTM-MDTNH696) and Meta Pixel (1329651056037182) |
Optional; loaded only after affirmative marketing consent | Provider-controlled; see provider controls |
We do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or other optional marketing/analytics tags until you make a positive choice. We do not sell personal information or use cookies for targeted advertising without that choice.
3. Your choices
When you first visit a public Mango page, our cookie dialogue lets you:
- accept all optional categories;
- reject all non-essential categories; or
- make separate choices for analytics and marketing measurement.
You can reopen the dialogue at any time using the Cookie preferences control displayed on the page. If you withdraw a previously granted category, the page reloads so its tag stops collecting immediately. Withdrawal does not automatically remove data a provider received before withdrawal. You may also clear existing browser storage through your browser settings.
For visitors in the EU, EEA and UK, optional cookies are not set before consent. We keep a small local preference record (choice, time and policy version) so we can respect your selection; it is not used for advertising.
4. Browser controls and third parties
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other requested features from working.
Third parties may set or read their own storage when you deliberately use their service:
- Stripe for checkout or billing-portal sessions;
- Google for Google sign-in and, if you consent, Analytics or Tag Manager; and
- Microsoft for Microsoft sign-in.
Those providers operate under their own privacy notices and controls. Their current policies are available from Stripe, Google, Meta, and Microsoft.
5. International use
Optional analytics and marketing providers may process data outside Australia. See International transfers in our Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum for the safeguards and provider information that apply to the Service.
6. Changes
We may update this Policy when the technologies or choices change. We will update the effective date and version on this page. Optional tracking remains disabled unless we hold a valid affirmative choice for it.
