Remote / commission-only · no experience needed
Earn commission from home, on your own hours
Introduce local businesses to Aimee, an AI receptionist that answers the calls they're missing. You don't need sales experience, a degree, or a resume. We train you, and you decide when you work.
We are hiring a small team of independent consultants. Applications are open now.Nothing to buy. No joining fee. We never ask you for money.
You do not need to have done this before
Most people who do well here have never had a sales job. If you have been out of work, are at home with kids, are managing a disability, or your last job was behind a counter or a grill — you are exactly who we are talking to. That is not us being nice. Listening properly and ringing back when you said you would are the two things that actually matter in this role, and they are not taught in sales jobs.
- No resume needed. The field below is optional. Gaps in your work history are not counted against you, and we don't ask you to explain them.
- No sales background needed. We give you the training, the words to use, and the answers to the common objections.
- Your accent is not scored. English does not have to be your first language. The interview scores whether you're clear, not how you sound.
- Voice interview not possible for you? Ask for the written version instead. Just reply to your invitation email — you don't have to give a reason.
- Work the hours you have. An hour a day around school runs, appointments or a bad-health week is a legitimate way to do this.
What you'd actually do
You find local businesses that are losing work because nobody can answer the phone — a plumber under a sink, a salon mid-appointment, a one-person removalist on the road — and you introduce them to Aimee, an AI receptionist that picks up when they can't.
You are not cold-reading a script at strangers. The conversation is four questions long: what happens when the phone rings and you're busy? Do people leave a message? So you don't know who rang? What's a job worth to you? Then you let them hear Aimee themselves. The live demo does most of the convincing.
The product you'd represent
Aimee is real, working software you can try yourself right now — not a concept. She answers the calls a business misses, captures what the caller needs, and can book the job straight into the owner's calendar.
She also handles the jobs that pile up after hours: chasing unpaid invoices, filing receipts, building quotes off the owner's own rates, and keeping customers updated. That is the part owners get emotional about — it's the work their partner does at the kitchen table at 9pm.
Why the sales conversation is concrete
This is still a sales role: you will need to prospect, qualify, follow up, handle objections, and close. The useful part is that the problem is easy for business owners to recognise.
- Missed calls are visible pain. Many local operators already know they lose enquiries when they are with a customer, on the road, after hours, or on the tools.
- The demo is live. Prospects can talk to Aimee before they buy, so your pitch can move quickly from claim to proof.
- The activation trial lowers friction. Suitable prospects can configure the web helper free, then use a $5 USD phone activation to test the product on real calls before the $200/month USD plan continues unless cancelled.
The Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based role with uncapped earning potential. We believe in splitting the initial revenue fairly with the people who bring in the business. Here is the actual arithmetic, so you can decide for yourself whether it is worth your time.
| Customer's plan | They pay per 30 days | Your 50% | Total across the five cycles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mango Max (the common one) | US$200 | US$100 | US$500 |
| Mango Team | from US$499 | from US$249.50 | from US$1,247.50 |
| Aimee Pro | US$20 | US$10 | US$50 |
- Customers keep a permanent Free Front Desk, then may pay US$5 to activate live phones and start the 60-day Aimee trial.
- Phone activation is a US$5 60-day trial with unlimited Aimee minutes and confirmed bookings. Unless cancelled before it ends, Mango Max continues at US$200 every 30 days for up to 50 bookings; higher capacity requires the owner's choice and Mango Team starts at US$499 every 30 days.
- You earn a 50% commission on the first five qualifying post-trial subscription-payment cycles Mango actually receives from an attributed client. The US$5 activation is excluded, and so are the trial and any non-qualifying invoice. A later refund is offset as a debit for the matching paid commission amount against future commission and never opens a sixth cycle.
- Commissions are paid according to verified monthly customer payments, not at free signup or phone activation. There is no guaranteed minimum income.
- You are paid by PayPal after a customer's payment clears. Give us your PayPal address early, or earned commission sits waiting until we have it.
Your earnings are directly tied to your effort. A couple of customers a month is a real second income; a bigger pipeline scales it up.
Being straight with you
You have probably seen "work from home" offers that turned out to be something else. So here is the uncomfortable half, in plain words:
- You never pay us anything. No kit, no course, no licence, no deposit. If anyone ever asks you for money to do this role, it is not us.
- You earn from customers only — never from signing up other consultants. There is no reward for introducing people to this role.
- There is no wage and no safety net. If you sell nothing, you earn nothing. This is a contractor role, not employment, and you handle your own tax.
- Most people you approach will say no. That is normal and it is not a reflection on you — but you do have to be able to keep going after it.
- It takes time to reach the money. A customer has to sign up, activate, finish a 60-day trial, and then pay — so your first commission is weeks away, not days.
- If you're on a payment or benefit, check first. Commission is income and it may affect what you receive. Please check your own situation before you rely on it.
What happens after you apply
- We confirm we've got it, by email, straight away.
- You get the consultant guide to read — what the product does, who needs it, how the conversation goes, and the answers to the five objections you'll hear most. Read it before you interview. You can read it right now.
- A 10–15 minute interview with Aimee herself, by voice. Ask for the written version if voice is difficult for you, for any reason.
- A person reviews it — not just a machine. You're scored on being clear, understanding the product, honesty, and follow-through. Accent and fluency are explicitly not scored.
- If you're approved, you sign a contractor agreement, get your own tracked link, scripts, training and a real person to ask for help.
About You
- You can start a conversation with someone you don't know and be genuinely interested in their answer.
- You do what you said you'd do — if you tell someone you'll ring Thursday, you ring Thursday.
- You'd rather tell a business owner the honest answer than the one that closes the sale.
- You can hear "no" several times and still make the next call.
If you have the drive to build your own pipeline and write your own paycheck, we want to hear from you — whatever your CV looks like.
